About us
OVERVIEW & PURPOSE
Mission Accomplished SA in an NPO that recognizes the relapse rates and reasons their off after drug and alcohol abuse rehabilitation. Yes, we believe that in some cases rehab centers are necessary. However, we also recognize that they merely hide the user from the substance and does not allow them to rebuild healthy lives in which they can say no to substances which are guaranteed to be available to them at some point in their lives. That’s why our mission is to help addicts recover and get to a point where they can say no and walk away when people of influence are encouraging them to use.
Let’s face the facts, an addict can stay sober for years in a rehabilitation center because the substance is bein taken away from them. However, we’ve sen instances that even after 2 years in a rehabilitation center, the addict relapses as soon as they are able to access the substance.
How to we prevent this:
- Maintain a daily or weekly drug test and breathalyzer to maintain accountability
- Help the individual get qualified and build a business or career that they value more than the high.
- Provide daily counseling sessions
- Work with qualified doctors to medicate symptoms that may cause addiction
